How to make beautiful snippet in Yandex with high CTR

When working with Yandex, there are some tricks that allow you to highlight a site link in search results, and they are quite easy to implement. In most cases that we will list in this article, you do not need the help of programmers at all and you are quite able to arrange beautiful snippets in Yandex, having basic knowledge.

What is an advanced snippet?
An extended snippet is a term used to describe the layout of structured data that site operators can add to their existing HTML code. This in turn allows search engines to better understand what information is contained on each web page. However, major search engines have taken it one step further and now use this markup to present richer search results, making it easier for users to find the information they are looking for. Next, we will tell you how to make snippets in issuing Yandex beautiful and highly clickable.

Under normal circumstances, when your website appears in search results, the site title, URL and any meta description that you have assigned to the page is displayed. For those who do not advertise on Yandex, you can send product information using Yandex webmaster tools. This method is a bit more complicated, since the product information must be in YML (Yandex Market Language), which is a special type of XML file supported by Yandex Market. Creating a YML file may require some knowledge of how a snippet is generated in Yandex, but the results will pay off (especially for stores with competitive prices).

Yandex allows business owners to add a lot of additional information about various types of companies and organizations to their fragments. For example, for a hotel’s website you can display its star rating, number of rooms and available facilities. Currently, special fragments are available for 75 types of organizations, such as: restaurants, bars, night clubs, hotels, shopping centers, gas stations and pharmacies. This type of snippet is available only for the official websites of organizations and cannot be used by managers or appointed persons. Information for special fragments can be sent through Yandex Webmaster or through Yandex Directory.

Recipes – A structured markup of data for recipes offers many properties, allowing website operators related to cooking and recipes collections to include everything from the type of dish, reviews and cooking time to dish information such as serving size, calorie content, fat content and much more.

Events – The use of structured data markup with events is intended only for future events and not for past. It is worth noting here that the summary is not intended for a brief description of the event, but for the official name of the event. Other properties include start and end dates, duration, ticket purchase details and geolocation.

Music – may include links to preview songs and direct links to purchase individual tracks or full albums, links to tracks on Yandex Music.

Video content – this refers to the embedded video content on your website, and here the snippet can be used to indicate the duration, license, production company and / or creator of the video.
